Terms of service

The service

webcapture renders web pages you designate into PDFs, images or Markdown over an HTTP API and an MCP endpoint. A conversion is one rendered page. Monthly quotas depend on your account's tier; an exhausted quota returns HTTP 429 rather than billing overage.

Keys and security

API keys authenticate every call. Keep them secret; anything done with your key counts as done by you. Revoke compromised keys immediately: from your dashboard for your own keys, or with the master key.

Acceptable use

Use the service for lawful content only. Don't render pages you aren't allowed to render, don't use the service to infringe others' rights, and don't probe, flood or otherwise abuse target sites through it. We may revoke keys that break these rules.

Billing

The Pro plan is $19 per month for 5,000 renders, billed monthly through Stripe. You can keep using the Free tier (50 renders per month) for as long as you like. Cancel any time from the billing portal; the subscription runs to the end of the paid month and nothing bills after that. Prices may change with email notice to your account address before your next billing cycle.

Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis while in beta; there is no SLA yet. Some pages cannot be rendered (offline sites, hard bot walls). Those return errors and don't consume quota on hard failures.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and any dispute under them goes to the courts of Hong Kong.

Changes

These terms may change as the service matures; material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
