Free conversion tools
Four free tools, one rendering engine. Every tool runs the same headless Chromium the webcapture API sells, with no account: paste a URL or your HTML, get the file. Fair use is a few renders per minute and ten per day per address, one shared pool across all of them.

Which output do you need?
| Need | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Something to print, archive, or attach to an email | URL to PDF | Pagination and print CSS: paper sizes, page breaks, a document that behaves on paper. |
| A picture of the page as it renders | URL to screenshot | Raster dimensions: every pixel of the render, full page or a fixed viewport width. |
| Text for a model, an index, or your notes | URL to markdown | Text extraction: reading structure without the chrome, ready for a pipeline. |
| A document that exists only in your clipboard | Paste HTML to PDF | The same print engine for markup that never lived at a URL. |
What they share
All four run current headless Chromium, so modern CSS renders the way your browser renders it. All four refuse private and local addresses, and none of them can pass a login wall or a hard bot check; a page that challenges the render comes back as an error that says so. All four are anonymous, rate-limited by address rather than by account, and backed by one API: when a task outgrows fair use, the keyed surface takes the same inputs plus the rest of the parameter set, and the first 50 renders a month are free.
Choosing by trade-off
PDF is the only output that paginates, so it is the only one that answers "how does this print". A screenshot is the only output that keeps the exact pixels, so it is the one for visual records. Markdown is the only output that throws presentation away, so it is the one for text pipelines. If you are deciding for a program rather than for a one-off, the capability matrix compares the keyed surface feature by feature.
Render your first page in seconds
Mint a key, POST a URL, and the finished document comes back in the same response; pass ?wait=false for a job ticket with poll and download URLs. The first 50 renders a month are free, and there is no credit card. Not ready for a key? The free URL to PDF tool renders public pages without one.
